So yesterday was lovely at Tuckers Grove Park. P and I met with the PEP group and had a picnic. P sported a fantastic white peasant blouse which she looked quite flashy in if I do say so myself. ;) Yellowbird music showed up to do a few songs with us, but by then P was ready for a nap so she wasn't having any of it! LOL Enjoy the pics!

She Arrives!

So on November 10,2009 at 10 to midnight the little bugger arrived. She is already four months old as of yesterday so I am backtracking a bit to get all caught up but here are some cute pics of her at three weeks old, first car ride home and first pic ever in the hospital.

Penelope- The Shower

Our baby shower was held on September 26, 2009 at my father-in-laws house in Montecito CA. His house is gorgeous and was the perfect setting. We decided to just do one shower that included all of our friends and family. It was nice too because we had just moved back to Santa Barbara from LA and this gave us a great excuse to see a lot of old friends. My girlfriend Rebecca helped me out with the decorations. So since I'm getting started sooo late on this blog I will back things up a bit before we get into full swing. I'd like things to as chronologically (did I spell that right?) as I can. So this post shows a few fun pregnant pics!

I'm blogging? Finally!

Well I can say is I've been hemming and hawing over a name for a blog for so long now that it has prevented me from doing anything. Alas I've decided on a name. Do you like it? I know I know, if I have another child I will feel horribly guilty over naming this one after my first but what can you do? This blog is a tribute to my daughter Penelope Pearl. Pics with a c for all the adorable pictures you will get to see of her, and picks with a K for all the things that she likes. So this will not just be a "family" blog- I wanted to blog about different things that inspire and excite me. This way I can share them with all of you and I hope that you share what inspires you as well. We can all collaborate! I love it!

Kate turns 21 again??

My beautiful friend Kate turned 21 again on November 17. We celebrated with a lovely dinner on the outside terrace of Arnoldi's Cafe in Santa Barbara. It's so much fun to get all dolled up and have cocktails and yummy food with girlfriends. Kate, I love you so much and am so blessed to have you in my life. I hope this year brings you many laughs and lots of chocolate.
