When the hubby and I think about vacation at this point in our lives we think less about adventure and more about RELAXATION.
Not that we don't luuuuuvvvv adventure, but we are getting enough of that with three littles in the house.
We want to go somewhere that has plenty of sun, plenty of things to do for the kids and plenty of people on hand to serve mom and dad!
This was our second time to the Azul Beach Hotel and we once again we had a blast.
airport anticipation |
airplane ride was great on the way there onnnn the way back, not so much traveling with an over-tired 18 month old who missed a nap was in a word... awful! |
dancing with daddy to live music |
the beach beds are the best |
the typical turquoise water turned an awful brown this year due to an overabundance of seaweed it was a weird phenomenon believed to be brought about by extra warm currents in the Carribean |
kayaking with the P! |
loungin |
this is a giant kiddie pool! |
seriously all he did |
The Kids Club |
night shows |
in room entertainment |
lunch at the beach |
twinsies |
swim up bar right outside our room the kids loved splurging on milkshakes during Everly's naps |
kids breakfast pint-size buffet was a highlight |
room on the pool was perfect |
date night at the tequila bar! |
kiddie pool and jacuzzi |
we had a swim up suite with swim up bar right outside our room! |
our patio |
seriously one of my favorite times on our trip was just doing this |
