Thankful

The human soul is such an exquisite profound gift and its ability to touch and bless everything around it makes my heart sing.
I feel so overwhelmed to have such wonderful people in my life.

School's out for Summer!

So I got my new camera finally! The Olympus Ep-1 and boy let me tell ya it is one beauty! For now I am still trying to learn how to use it and tried it out for the first time at Penelope's last day of school before summer. We sat next to Graham and he was a blast! P and Graham had a great time playing.

BEASTIES & PLUMS

So this past weekend we drove up to Sacramento to visit James's sister Suzanne and her husband Oliver and Penelope's only cousin Toby. What should have been a 6 hour trip of course was stretched into 8+ with baby on board. LOL! But we did eventually get there and we had a great time of course. Suzanne took us to an amazing art studio for kids called Art Beast. I WISH WISH WISH SB had something like this so who knows maybe that will be my next endeavor?? ;) This place has craft areas, an infant room, a music studio etc etc. You must check out the pics to fully appreciate. After we went across the street for a delicious lunch at a vegan bakery called Sugar Plum... adorable.

Baby Dedication 5-9-10

Penelope's baby dedication was on Mother's day at Hope Community Church. I couldn't think of a better way to spend my first Mother's day with my daughter. I was so happy that so many of our family were able to come out on such sort notice. Pen also got her very first bible- in pink suede of course. ;) After the service we all went to the Arts and Lectures cafe for a beautiful Sunday brunch and celebrated our moms! It was the perfect way to spend Mother's Day!
