Yvonne's baby shower

I had the pleasure of co-hosting a dear friend's baby shower this month.

This is her first baby, a baby boy!

The shower was a lunch at a favorite restaurant in town, just perfect for a special occasion.

This momma loves bright colors so the theme was various shades of rich blues with yellow and coral.

There was a whale on her invitations so we mimicked that a bit too.

Indian Wells- a hot summery weekend away

This was our first time in Palm Desert.

We had such a blast hanging out with our friends, the Becks.

This is their annual get-a-way spot so it was super special to get to share this with them.

Basically, it was lot of pool time and it was perfect.

The only thing that wasn't perfect was our car breaking down in the extreme July desert heat.

Yikes!

We made it safely there thank God, but it was a little stressful on the way home.

Needless to say the Honda is a "just around town" car now. ;)
