Summer Solstice- the longest day of the year.
I love these days where the sun shines long and bright.
It rejuvenates me.
Santa Barbara has a great tradition of celebrating the official kick off to summer with a wild and crazy parade. This year's parade theme was Scifi! So there were lots of aliens and creatures, it was very "far out."
We met up with our buddies the Zavala Family, and cooled off with snocones in the park.
Afterwards James and I went out for our own little cool down with drinks at the El Encanto.
