When the hubby and I think about vacation at this point in our lives we think less about adventure and more about RELAXATION.
Not that we don't luuuuuvvvv adventure, but we are getting enough of that with three littles in the house.
We want to go somewhere that has plenty of sun, plenty of things to do for the kids and plenty of people on hand to serve mom and dad!
This was our second time to the Azul Beach Hotel and we once again we had a blast.
airplane ride was great on the way there

traveling with an over-tired 18 month old who missed a nap was in a word... awful!
dancing with daddy to live music
the beach beds are the best
the typical turquoise water turned an awful brown this year due to an overabundance of seaweed
it was a weird phenomenon believed to be brought about by extra warm currents in the Carribean
kayaking with the P!
this is a giant kiddie pool!
seriously all he did
The Kids Club
in room entertainment
lunch at the beach
swim up bar right outside our room
the kids loved splurging on milkshakes during Everly's naps
kids breakfast pint-size buffet was a highlight
room on the pool was perfect
date night at the tequila bar!
kiddie pool and jacuzzi
we had a swim up suite with swim up bar right outside our room!
seriously one of my favorite times on our trip was just doing this
