Oh How Tweet!

This past Saturday me with a group of friends of mine threw a baby shower for my friend Leah at my home. We had around 35 guests! There were brunch items on the menu, including a hot chocolate bar, apricot bellinis and even a fun mocktail called "Liquid Muse Easy Teasy Pregatini"- how cute is that? Leah's favorite color is purple so we used that for the color scheme, and because the invitations were little birdies on branches all of our decorations followed suit. This shower was extremely fun, from the quality time I spent preparing for it with my girlfriends to the happy glow of the mom-to-be I think it was a huge success. We love you Leah you are going to make a great mommy!

me and the mommy-to-be!

We created cute birdie tags so guests could leave little wishes of love for the baby and mommy to hang on her "family tree"

dessert table- carrot cake cupcakes and cake pop favors

we made several frittatas, cheesy bacon grit souffle, scones, muffins, fruit salad, homemade strawberry jam with mascarpone cheese-- yum yum yum!
